Job Title: Sr Civil Site Engineer

Etech Energy is a leading engineering company. However, this role is about the position and responsibilities.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Site Supervisor to oversee construction activities related to switchyard and control room projects.

  • Supervise and coordinate civil construction works at the site, including foundation works, structures, and associated civil activities for switchyard and control room.
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules, technical specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Manage and monitor daily site activities, labor, subcontractors, and equipment.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and method statements.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work; identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Maintain site records, reports, and documentation.
  • Verify materials and workmanship conform to project standards and specifications.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating logistics and resource allocation.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in civil construction, specifically in switchyard, substation, or power plant projects.
  • Proven experience supervising civil works for high-voltage switchyard and control room construction.
  • Knowledge of civil construction procedures, safety standards, and quality control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
