Construction Project Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Coordinator to oversee daily operations at residential construction sites. This individual will effectively manage all on-site activities, ensuring the smooth progress of projects from start to finish while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate site work, including plumbing, flooring, plastering, and civil finishing activities.
  • Manage labor teams and subcontractors to ensure timely execution of work.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and maintain stringent safety and quality standards.
  • E nsure construction activities align with design specifications and project timelines.
  • Track material delivery, usage, and quality, and report any shortages or issues.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and the project manager for seamless workflow.
  • Maintain comprehensive site documentation and track labor attendance.
  • Assist in measurement verification and billing for contractors and vendors.
  • Address site-level challenges promptly and escalate critical issues to management as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in site supervision, preferably in residential building projects.
  • Construction Knowledge: Good knowledge of construction methods, material quality checks, and finishing work.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills for effective team and stakeholder interaction.
  • Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
  • Reporting & Planning: Proficiency in maintaining reports, providing billing support, and conducting labor planning.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and billing software/tools.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently on-site.
