Job Summary

A highly skilled Financial Analyst is needed to assist in the enhancement of fund accounting platforms. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts, experience with administration systems, and analysis skills.

  • Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders to inform system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Fund Accounting teams to document functional and technical requirements.
  • Work with technology teams to enhance fund accounting platforms (e.g., Advent Geneva, Investran, Eagle, Calypso, Charles River, or proprietary systems).
  • Identify gaps, streamline reconciliations, automate manual processes, and improve data integrity.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of financial concepts: net asset value, accruals, profit and loss attribution, fee structures (management & incentive/performance), side pockets, share classes.
  • Experience with administration systems (Geneva, Investran, Advent, or equivalent).
  • Analysis skills: requirements gathering, process modeling, user acceptance testing, documentation.
  • Understanding of financial instruments: equities, fixed income, derivatives (swaps, options, futures, FX).
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and reporting tools for data analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills.
