Job Summary

This is a leadership role for a senior software engineer who will be responsible for leading the engineering platforms team in developing and maintaining scalable software products. The ideal candidate should have experience in full-stack development, design, architecture, testing, and launching software products.

Responsibilities
  • Develop an understanding of the overall business and architecture, set goals and roadmap for the product to ensure scalability and excellence.
  • Guide the team in supporting full-stack development, set engineering strategy, author goals and strategy documents, make architectural decisions, and review design documents.
  • Build tools to run operations and end-to-end products.
  • Ensure engineering alignment with established best practices, enable services to be easily testable by test engineers, supported by site reliability engineers (SREs), and easy to operate in the field.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams, operations, client solutions, user experience researchers (UXR), product management to support solutions in production.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development with data structures/algorithms.
  • 5 years of experience in design and architecture, testing, or launching software products.
  • Experience in service design and software architecture.
