Job Title: Software Engineering Leadership
As a senior software engineering leader, you will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our organization. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage software engineering teams, driving the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead software engineering teams to deliver complex software projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, define project scope, and develop project plans.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to complete their tasks effectively.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve team efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Work closely with product management to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with software development projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in managing software engineering teams, preferably in a web-based application/service environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and source control tools such as Git.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, SQL, and relational databases.
  • Experience with building scalable, globally accessible web applications and platforms.
