Job Summary

This position involves 70% of the time spent on mobile automation testing using Appium, with the remaining 30% dedicated to web automation testing using Selenium.

The ideal candidate should have extensive programming experience using either JavaScript (preferable) or TypeScript, and has been involved in building automation frameworks from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate test cases using industry standard tools as required by the project
  • Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, system, regression and user acceptance testing
  • Report, review and retest defects and ensure that all important defects have been resolved at the appropriate level prior to product release
  • Work as a lead on smaller projects, guiding junior team members

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of Automation testing web-based and/or mobile applications experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience with industry standard defect management tools
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Experience working with offshore and geographically spread out development and testing teams
  • Completed or working towards industry standard testing certification
  • Experience and exposure to SOX compliance and audits
