
Human Resources Leader

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the Human Resources function, driving strategic initiatives across HR operations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and culture-building. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring HR teams, ensuring compliance, and implementing people processes that align with business goals to support organizational growth.
The incumbent will lead a lean PNC & TA team, setting clear KPIs, balancing workloads, and driving accountability. Additionally, they will oversee global mobility and travel operations: visas, deputations, travel policy compliance, and budget control.
Responsibilities include owning HR policy governance, audit readiness, and end-to-end HR administration (payroll, statutory filings, onboarding/offboarding). The individual will champion employee experience, office amenities, wellness programs, pulse surveys, and rapid-response action plans.
Key responsibilities also include owning culture-building strategy and execution—designing targeted initiatives, workshops, and recognition programs to boost engagement and reduce attrition. They will embed SteepGraph's 5-DNA through team-led workshops, leadership forums, and signature events (Annual Day, Fun Fridays).
The incumbent will design and approve total-rewards framework: salary cycles, incentives, spot awards, and ESOP communications. Additionally, they will prioritize and review Learning & Development: SteepGraph University curriculum, certification tracking, and impact reporting.
Driving CSR strategy and employer branding in collaboration with TA on social media, Glassdoor, and campus outreach is another key responsibility. The incumbent will own Talent Acquisition and HR governance: sourcing, screening, offers, TA metrics, complex escalations, HRIS data integrity, and HR-tech optimizations.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Mastery of Post Graduation / Master's in Human Resource Management from a recognized university or institute.
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in Human Resource Management, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong analytical skills to measure and analyze HR and people performance for data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in MS Office with working knowledge of HRIS systems such as SuccessFactors or Workday (preferred).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate, influence, and engage effectively at all organizational levels to drive results.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
