This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about automation, distributed systems, and continuous quality improvements in modern infrastructure setups.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases covering cluster lifecycle management, security, networking, and platform integrations.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks for REST APIs, UI testing, system-level, and end-to-end workflows.
- Perform performance and scalability testing across VM-based deployments and Kubernetes environments.
- Validate enterprise-grade scenarios like backup and restore, air-gapped installs, software upgrades, and collaboration with developers, product managers, and QA engineers.
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in infrastructure, database, or enterprise software.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
- Experience testing distributed systems or microservices.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, hybrid environments, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, cloud-native technologies, and tools like Ansible, Terraform, Helm.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with enterprise security validation, performance benchmarking tools, and methodologies.
- Knowledge of YugabyteDB or other distributed databases, agile development, and continuous testing practices.
