About the Position


The Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sports Events Coordinator to manage the affairs of The Times Cricket Shield, the oldest and largest Corporate Cricket Tournament in Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing the tournament, maintaining records, and coordinating with various stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities



  • To assist in organizing The Times Cricket Shield Tournament, covering 7 divisions and 180 teams, by planning, scheduling, and executing the events.
  • To maintain all tournament-related records and documents, including entry forms, score sheets, and financial records.
  • To coordinate the procurement of sports goods, trophies, and stationery items for the tournament.
  • To assist in other administrative jobs, such as MIS record keeping and vendor coordination.

Requirements


The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in sports events management and cricket tournament coordination, with excellent planning and organizing skills, interpersonal skills, and time management skills.


Qualifications


Graduate degree required.
