About this Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Security Specialist to spearhead our digital security initiatives and ensure the long-term protection of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust security policies and procedures to safeguard our IT infrastructure and data.
  • Lead compliance activities related to industry standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CCPA.
  • Analyze and improve existing security frameworks, proposing strategic solutions for long-term security enhancements.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits, developing remediation plans to address identified vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into network architectures and cloud services.
  • Monitor emerging security threats and intelligence, proactively mitigating potential risks.
  • Manage incident response efforts to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a cybersecurity role with hands-on experience in compliance and operational security.
  • Mandatory Skills: Cybersecurity, Compliance, Threat Detection, Data Protection, Cloud Security
  • Demonstrated expertise in network security, VPC management, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
  • A proven track record in handling SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CCPA compliance.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar will be highly regarded.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3-6 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
