Key Procurement Leadership Role

This is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing procurement activities across various business departments, ensuring smooth operations and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:1. Procurement Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Plan and manage procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
2. Vendor Management and Development
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate vendor performance to ensure high-quality services.
  • Develop new vendors and improve existing vendor relationships.
3. Contract Administration and Compliance
  • Administer contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage contract negotiations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
4. Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead a team of buyers focused on procurement activities for operational and maintenance-related requirements.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills.
5. Cost Optimization and Negotiation
  • Optimize costs through effective negotiation with vendors.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and ensure value for money.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum qualification: Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) with a post-graduate diploma in Business Management/MBA.
  • Experience: 12-16 years of total experience, with at least 3-4 years of experience in leading a team of buyers in a project and operations domain.
