As a senior software engineer, you will focus on developing efficient and scalable applications that process large-scale manufacturing data from globally distributed plants. Your key responsibilities include building data-driven solutions using IoT devices, machine learning models, and advanced data processing techniques.

The goal is to create highly available, reliable, consistent, and quality-assured data sets that can be used for various business purposes. You will work closely with technical teams to define data models, clarify requirements, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

To succeed in this role, you should have a deep understanding of distributed systems, including Kafka, Spark, Flink, and HDFS. Proficiency in Scala or other JVM-based languages is also essential. Additionally, experience with stream processing libraries, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and RDBMS is beneficial.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on backend and/or data-intensive applications.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
