Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR team at the plant level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor laws, statutory compliance, and industrial relations, with a proven track record of success in union negotiations, settlements, and conflict resolution.

The successful applicant will oversee all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, training, benefits administration, and employee relations. They will develop and implement effective HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

A key responsibility will be to build and maintain strong relationships with employees, management, and union representatives to ensure a positive work environment and minimize conflicts. Additionally, they will manage and resolve employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.

Candidates should have a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in HR, preferably in a plant-level setting. Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and industrial relations is essential. Proven experience in union negotiations, settlements, and conflict resolution is also required.

Other important skills and qualifications include:

  • Hands-on experience in plant-level HRBP activities.
  • Ability to handle large workforce (staff, unionized employees, contract labor).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, as well as professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, HRCI-SHRM, or CMC. Experience working in a dynamic and challenging environment is also beneficial.
