**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team.

This individual will be responsible for performing DFM analysis in PCBA and fabrication analysis in PCB, as well as analyzing testability and generating DFT reports. They will also simulate mechanical assembly processes and create DFA reports, while creating DFx procedures and checklists according to customer requirements.

The successful candidate will work with customers and internal manufacturing teams to define DFx requirements and rules, ensuring adherence to targets set for all process metrics. They will also generate timely and accurate DFx reports to stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities include mentoring the team, guiding them towards effective deliverables, and training new and existing team members on relevant software and tools. They will also perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues and prepare KPI reports for weekly/monthly operations reviews.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 4-7 years' experience in DFx methodologies, PCBA DFM process, DFT, and DFA analysis.
  • B. Tech (Elec / Electronics), Diploma (Elect / Electronics)

**Key Skills:**

  • Aptitude to work with multi-functional teams to define requirements and suitable metrics for new products and processes.
  • Knowledge and direct experience in NPI operations and manufacturing engineering.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Process Improvement, Kanban, and Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Conflict resolution.
  • Reporting and decision-making skills.
