Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide exceptional technical support to customers. This involves monitoring the infrastructure, identifying potential issues, and resolving them in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and experience working with various technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Monitoring
  1. Monitor server parameters, including CPU usage, memory allocation, disk space, log sizes, and other critical metrics on a regular schedule.
  2. Report any performance issues beyond thresholds to the relevant teams for prompt resolution.
Task Monitoring and Rerun
  1. Verify that scheduled tasks on the system are completed successfully.
  2. Rerun failed tasks as necessary.
Error Reporting and Resolution
  1. Document technical errors and report them to L2/L3 teams for swift resolution.
Email, Teams Channel, and Ticketing System Monitoring
  1. Stay up-to-date with new items/tickets across email, Teams channels, and ticketing systems.
  2. Initiate appropriate responses and engage with customers as needed.
Ticket Updates and Issue Reproduction
  1. Update tickets with initial responses and gather additional information from customers or other teams when required.
  2. Reproduce customer-reported issues in a testing environment and collaborate with L2 team members to resolve them.
Validation and Quality Assurance
  1. Validate issue fixes in the internal testing environment based on customer feedback.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Customer-Facing Experience
  1. Must have more than 3+ years of customer-facing experience.
Support Experience
  1. Should have managed either application or infrastructure support at an L1 level for at least 3 years.
IAM System Support Experience
  1. SailPoint or IAM system support experience is highly valued.
Communication and Customer Service
  1. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for responding to customers within defined SLAs.
Customer Issue Handling
  1. Must be experienced in handling customer-related queries on system functionality and providing required support.
Technical Background
  1. Technical background in Java, Scripting is a desirable asset.
