Enterprise Data Architect Wanted

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the design, development and implementation of scalable enterprise data management and analytics solutions using SAP Datasphere.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Data Governance & Security: Ensure the secure management of tenant setup, user roles, object- and row-level security, and metadata catalogs for regulatory compliance.
  • Solution Architecture & Integration: Design and integrate data pipelines and models within SAP Datasphere and associated SAP environments to drive business value.
  • Data Modeling & Pipelines: Develop logical and physical data models, replication flows, ETL processes, and task chains to enable efficient data flow.
  • API & Third-party Integration: Connect SAP and non-SAP systems, develop APIs, and deliver datasets to Business Intelligence platforms to support decision-making.
  • Migration & Lifecycle Management: Handle content and version control across development, test, and production systems using SAP BW Bridge to ensure data integrity.
  • Performance Monitoring: Optimize model and query performance, monitor data flows, and ensure reliability to meet business requirements.
  • Collaboration & Support: Partner with functional teams (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain), mentor junior staff, and assist in pre-sales or requirements gathering to drive successful project outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere in multiple end-to-end implementations is essential.
  • Data Modeling Skills: Strong skills in SQL, CDS, graph modeling are required.
  • Integration & Security Expertise: Proficiency in replication, ETL, task chains, security design: roles, scopes, cataloging is necessary.
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP ECC or S/4HANA modules (e.g., Finance, SCM, Sales) is beneficial.
  • BI Tools: Experience with BI tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or Tableau is desirable.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management, ability to work collaboratively in teams and agile environments is crucial.
