About the role

We are seeking a skilled IT Professional to ensure the smooth operation, security, and reliability of our organization's IT infrastructure.

This critical role involves maintaining and managing various systems, servers, and networks to support our technology needs.

Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage servers, networks, and systems for high availability and optimal performance.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to servers, networks, and software applications.
  • Implement security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access, viruses, and threats.
  • Update and patch systems regularly to ensure they are up-to-date with latest security and software enhancements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels for proper security protocols.
  • Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Plan and perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an IT Professional or similar IT role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, cloud services, and networking protocols.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and system management.
  • Experience with system monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
