As a JIRA expert, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our JIRA instances. This includes configuring and optimizing workflows, customizing issue types and fields to enhance system usability, and automating tasks using Script Runner Groovy and JIRA Automation Rules.

Responsibilities
  • Configure and manage JIRA Data Center and Cloud instances.
  • Design and optimize JIRA workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Customize issue types, screens, and fields to enhance usability.
  • Automate tasks using Script Runner Groovy and JIRA Automation Rules.
  • Integrate with Confluence, Bitbucket, and other tools.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 6+ years of experience in automation scripts and applications using Python, Groovy, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience managing RHEL, Unix-based environments, and web application frameworks like Flask and Angular.
  • Collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

  • Containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • CI/CD tools and version control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
