Strategic Leadership for Global Engagement

For one of our esteemed clients, we are seeking a highly experienced and visionary professional to lead their global engagement portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping international policy, fostering global partnerships, and enhancing India's trade and investment opportunities in alignment with national economic priorities.

Job Requirements
  • Masters degree in international relations, public policy, economics, business administration, or related field. PhD or equivalent international policy exposure is preferred.
  • A total of 25-30 years of progressive leadership experience in trade, diplomacy, global economic policy, or senior roles in government/industry bodies with extensive international exposure.
  • Technical expertise in international trade, investment, and diplomacy. Strong policy and advocacy background. Broad knowledge of global economic issues.
  • Generic managerial skills including visionary leadership, strong diplomatic, negotiation, influencing, and consensus-building skills. Wide international network across governments, industry associations, and multilateral institutions. Excellent public speaking and cross-cultural communication skills. High credibility, gravitas, and ability to influence global economic policy.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement organisation's international strategy to enhance India's global economic influence.
  2. Build and sustain relationships with foreign governments, multilateral organizations, and global chambers to advance trade and investment opportunities.
  3. Drive programs for market access, investment facilitation, and international business cooperation to deliver tangible outcomes for Indian industry.
  4. Ensure global engagements reinforce India's domestic economic and policy objectives to align with national priorities.
  5. Develop revenue streams through collaborations, sponsorships, and projects to ensure financial sustainability of international initiatives.
