Design Engineer - Mechanical Innovator

About the Role:

  • Create innovative mechanical designs and develop them into detailed projects.
  • Pursue expertise in 3D design, assembly, and engineering utilizing Creo software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute product development projects.
  • Deliver high-quality mechanical designs on time and within budget.
  • Analyze and apply knowledge of GD&T and Tolerance analysis for optimal results.
  • Lead internal and external lab testing for mechanical parts and products (UL, TUV).
  • Effectively communicate project requirements and progress to stakeholders.
  • Spearhead the qualification process for new mechanical products.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient in 3D design and assembly using Creo.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and plastic, sheet metal design.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and Tolerance analysis.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
