Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled system administrator with extensive experience in IBM iSeries system development.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in RPGLE, CLLE programming, and ILE (Integrated Language Environment), as well as solid experience in application design, development, and testing.

The successful candidate will also have expertise in DB2 for iSeries (SQL optimization, stored procedures, data modeling), and a strong understanding of iSeries operating systems (OS/400) and system tools.

In addition, the candidate should have experience with iSeries system integration technologies (e.g. API, MQ, XML, FTP).

The ability to work effectively in Agile software development methodology and DevSecOps technologies such as CI/CD and set of tools like Jenkins, Ansible, G3 etc., is essential.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven, hands-on on technology, and have effective English writing and communication skills.

Custody domain knowledge is desired but not a must.

Familiarity with Java/Python for hybrid application development will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • University graduate with a degree in IT or related discipline
  • Minimum 10+ years' hands-on experience in IBM iSeries system development
  • Expertise in RPGLE, CLLE programming, and ILE (Integrated Language Environment)
  • Solid experience in application design, development, and testing
  • Proficiency in DB2 for iSeries (SQL optimization, stored procedures, data modeling)
  • Strong understanding of iSeries operating systems (OS/400) and system tools
