Software Architect Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled software architect to build scalable, resilient systems using Java (Spring Boot) and event-driven architectures.

As our technical backbone, you'll drive system design and architecture decisions, solving real-time, high-throughput challenges in search, pricing, and booking workflows. You'll also mentor teams and deliver critical initiatives from design to deployment.

This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as ScyllaDB, Kafka, AWS, and AI tools, in a remote-first, ownership-heavy environment where engineering excellence is non-negotiable.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive system design and platform architecture decisions
  • Build scalable, resilient systems using Java (Spring Boot) and event-driven architectures
  • Solve real-time, high-throughput challenges in search, pricing, and booking workflows
  • Own end-to-end delivery of critical initiatives from design to deployment
  • Mentor teams while solving complex, ambiguous technical challenges

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years backend development experience
  • Deep Java expertise (Spring Boot, Hibernate)
  • Hands-on developer who can code, architect, and lead by example
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines
  • Strong collaboration skills with stakeholders - Product teams, Clients, and Cross-functional tech teams
  • Distributed systems experience with event-driven architectures
  • NoSQL databases (ScyllaDB, MongoDB)
  • Performance optimization and latency tuning skills
  • Ownership mindset with proven track record of delivering mission-critical projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LLM pipelines, RAG, or agentic AI experience
  • Databricks, Spark, or large-scale data processing
  • Travel-tech or B2B marketplace background
  • Full-stack experience with React
