Job Opportunity:

Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Expert

We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead our strategic sourcing initiatives and drive cost savings across the organization. As a Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Expert, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring all types of steel materials from OEMs and dealers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and procure HR Coils, MS, SS, special grades, and consumables.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with large steel manufacturers to negotiate agreements and develop custom steel grades.
Supply Chain Management Expertise:
  • Manage working capital across PAN India plants based on market and site requirements.
  • Forecast product demand and analyze price trends on a weekly basis.
Analytics and Reporting:
  • Prepare analytics on inventory, costs, and other metrics as required by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 14+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the steel industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple vendors.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Advanced Excel, Power BI, and other software tools.
  • Hands-on experience in importing steel and other goods through vessel shipments.
