
Process Improvement Specialist

This role will play a key part in driving process improvement across the organization.
The primary objective of this position will be to develop and implement strategic projects that optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve customer value elements.
- Foster collaboration between teams to identify high-impact projects for quality improvement, focusing on key business processes and methodologies.
- Work closely with stakeholders to track project progress, implement best practices, and provide expert advice and assistance to Green Belts, Process Owners, and Team Members.
- Develop and analyze data to monitor progress, ensure timelines are met, and guide Operations teams to minimize variability through process capability index.
- Motivate team members to participate effectively in improvement activities, recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and influence teams through education and communication, promoting a culture of change and continuous improvement.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify high-impact improvement opportunities and their champions.
- Track and report project results, ensuring sustained process improvements.
- Leads multi-disciplined teams in addressing quality issues and executing systemic improvement projects.
- Prepare weekly, monthly reports on operations, highlighting key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with the operations team to analyze data using analytical tools.
- Conduct training sessions on Lean Six Sigma and statistical process control tools for shop floor employees.
- Drive savings and improvement projects through Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to basic quality management systems.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience, with at least 3 years in LEAN & Six Sigma.
- Technical knowledge of lean principles, tools, and techniques.
Skills:
- Black belt certification advantageous.
- Strong facilitation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and create proper analysis from data.
- Proficient in various tools, including Kanban, 5S, visual management, Poka-Yoke methods, VSM, and pull systems.
