Policy Strategist

Deputy Manager with focus on public policy development.

Location: Gurugram (On-Site)

Key Responsibilities
  • Forge relationships with policymakers, regulators, and government stakeholders to advance business objectives.
  • Lead advocacy efforts across industry associations, think tanks, and other collective forums to strengthen position in sectoral policy debates.
  • Proactively identify emerging policy issues, develop well-researched positions and recommendations to address them.
  • Engage with think tanks, civil society organizations, and academia to shape important policy developments.
  • Provide regulatory guidance to internal teams while collaborating with a cross-functional team.
Essential Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Law/Economics/Political Science/Public Policy/Business/International Affairs or similar field.
  • Minimum 3-6 years' experience working with government, think tanks, public interest groups, or in corporate public policy.
  • Strong experience managing relationships with industry associations and advocacy platforms.
  • Ability to review and evaluate legislation and technical policy documents.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated individual able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of telecom, technology, data privacy frameworks, and laws impacting digital businesses.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team across multiple tasks and locations.
  • Effective prioritization framework to focus on key issues.
