Job Title: FPGA Engineer Intern

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated intern to join our team of engineers.

Location: Remote (Global Team) Our team is distributed across the SF Bay Area, Tokyo, Singapore, Auckland, and Colombo. While this is a remote position, we offer access to a workspace in Palo Alto, CA, for those in the area.

About Our Project

We are an agile, early-stage startup at the forefront of cloud computing. We're a small, globally-distributed team with a huge vision: to fundamentally change how high-performance computing is accessed by integrating Virtual FPGA technology with Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining critical components of the static shell for our Virtual FPGA technology.
• Architecting and implementing high-performance cybersecurity applications that push the boundaries of what's possible on our platform.
• Collaborating on system design, performance analysis, and integration in a constantly evolving codebase.
• Embracing the full development lifecycle, quickly moving from concept and design to implementation and real-world deployment.

Basic Qualifications (What you'll need)

• Pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience in FPGA system development, particularly with AMD/Xilinx FPGAs.
• Proficiency in Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP).
• Programming skills in C/C++.
• Familiarity with software/hardware development in a Linux environment and Git for version control.
• A background in FPGA-based networking application development or performance analysis.

Preferred Qualifications (What will make you stand out)

• A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience with AMD/Xilinx Versal devices.
• Experience with Dynamic Function eXchange (DFX).
• A keen interest in cybersecurity application development.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes.
• Experience with High-Level Synthesis (HLS).
• Experience with advanced networking technologies (RDMA, DPDK).
