International Business Development Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Business Development Lead to drive our growth in the Middle East. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to expand our presence in the region.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in international business development, with a strong network of contacts and relationships in the Middle East. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver sales and revenue growth targets, while maintaining profitability and excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Revenue:
    • Hit sales targets and maintain profit margins.
    • Expand presence by finding distributors, agents, and partners.
    • Ensure excellent service and strong customer satisfaction.
  • Market Strategy:
    • Research market trends and competition.
    • Use insights to define entry and growth plans.
    • Lead efforts to open new business in target markets.
  • Business Development:
    • Visit and nurture relationships with partners.
    • Negotiate contracts, tenders, and agreements.
    • Manage the full order cycle: quotes → delivery → invoicing.
    • Monitor payments and follow up promptly.
  • Sales & Marketing Support:
    • Help with regional campaigns and promotions.
    • Represent the company at exhibitions and trade events.
    • Track performance and share improvement insights.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work with Product, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing teams.
    • Facilitate communication to meet company objectives.
  • Risk & Compliance:
    • Spot risks related to regulations or geopolitics.
    • Support mitigation planning.
    • Stay updated on trade rules and advise teams.
    Requirements:
    • Experience: 5+ years in international business development (ideally in Middle East).
    • Skills: Strong track record of sales success, excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects, knowledge of legal, trade, and compliance matters.
