Senior Workday Functional Consultant Job Description

As a seasoned business professional, you will be instrumental in implementing and configuring Workday solutions to meet the complex needs of our clients.

This critical role offers a tremendous opportunity for growth and development in product management, functional consulting, and business operations.

  • You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and product managers to understand requirements, processes, and business needs.
  • Translate business requirements into effective Workday configurations that are scalable and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Configure and maintain Workday modules as per business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, workflows, and support testing/UAT cycles to guarantee the highest level of quality.
  • Deliver high-quality Workday configurations on time, while providing excellent support during change management activities.
  • Lead the offshore team by establishing best practices, governance, and process excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, optimize solutions, and provide ongoing support.

Required Skills:

  • At least 6 years of experience in Business Analysis or Functional Consulting, with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience working with Workday configurations.
  • Deep understanding of HR processes and business workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HCM and relevant modules (certifications preferred).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Agile environments, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
