Seeking a seasoned medical coding expert to lead our team.

Job Description:
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in medical coding, with a proven track record of managing large teams and developing long-range goals.
  • They should be certified from AAPC or AHIMA, with strong leadership capabilities, client handling experience, and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversees daily operations of the coding unit, including workload and staffing; hiring, disciplining, and performance appraisals; training; and monitoring quality of work.
  • Develops short-term and long-term goals, objectives, plans, and programs, ensuring implementation.
  • Evaluates the impact of innovations and changes in programs, policies, and procedures for the coding unit.
  • Designs and implements systems and methods to improve data accessibility.
Requirements:
  • 17+ years of experience in multispecialty coding and substantial team management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong managerial, leadership, analytical, interpersonal skills and outstanding organizational skills.
