Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical Procurement Coordinator: procure site requirements, electrical items, and consumables locally as per project needs.
  • Project Alignment: coordinate with the Project Manager and site electrical team to align material procurement with the execution plan.
  • Material Sourcing: work closely with the HO SCM team for major electrical material procurement (cables, transformers, switchgear, etc.) and ensure delivery at the site.
  • Vendor Management: develop and maintain a local vendor database for electrical materials and consumables.
  • Quality Compliance: ensure procurement compliance with quality standards and safety requirements.
  • Inventory Management: monitor and report material stock, consumption, and shortages at the site.
  • Material Reconciliation: support material reconciliation of electrical items during and after project execution.
  • Logistics Coordination: handle logistics coordination for safe and timely delivery of materials to the site.
  • Documentation Management: maintain accurate procurement documentation (POs, GRNs, vendor invoices, reconciliation records).
  • Vendor Issue Resolution: assist in resolving material shortages, vendor issues, or delivery delays in coordination with HO SCM.
  • Contractual Communication: manage contractual communications with vendors in case of delay or price escalations.
  • PO Issuance: ensure formal PO issuance at site.
  • Support Functions: support team in insurance and claims handling.
  • Site Assessments: visit factories, manufacturer facilities to assess the vendor locally.
