Job Overview

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in a similar domain.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely submission of regulations to the regulator, including new business submissions, schedules submissions, SP submissions, complaints submissions, financial statements submissions, and compliance certificates.
  • Track, align, and ensure coordination with respective business units and BIU teams for maintaining regulatory registers in the appropriate format.
  • Notify regulators of branch openings, closures, directorship changes, and regulatory charges.
  • Upload, track, and review salespersons and SP details periodically.
  • Obtain and renew applicable licenses on time and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Issue NOCs for exited SPs and detag PAN from IRDA and Envoy.
  • Apply for telemarketing licenses and submit regulatory data as per guidelines.
  • Keep track of license renewals, including IRDAI CA, PO, ISNP, Envoy, and other licenses.
  • Track regulatory checklists, including IRDAI data maintenance, registers, timely submissions, grievances, etc.
  • Coordinate with finance, product teams, and insurers for monthly reconciliation sign-offs and follow up on gaps identified.
  • Maintain and track agreements with insurers, SLAs, and commission structures.
  • Track grievances from the grievance team, insurers, and resolve with business, product, and branch teams.
  • Provide audit checklists and track audit resolution for branches.
  • Provide checklists to the compliance team and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on AML cases.
  • Bookkeep litigation cases, update regulators as needed, and track open cases.
  • Perform any delegated activities by management and supervisors.
