Production Planning and Control Expert

The role involves overseeing the planning and execution of production processes, ensuring smooth operations and meeting customer commitments.

We seek a highly skilled professional with 2-5 years of experience in production planning and control, supply chain management, and engineering change orders. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating work orders, coordinating warehouse activities, implementing ECOs, tracking material obsolescence, monitoring WIP levels, and achieving planned rates.

  1. Work Order Management: Create and execute work orders for sub-assemblies and finished goods, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  2. Warehouse Coordination: Coordinate with warehouses for kitting activities, receiving and processing materials, and maintaining inventory levels.
  3. Engineering Change Orders: Implement ECOs for sub-assemblies, ensuring seamless integration with existing production processes.
  4. Material Obsolescence: Track and manage material MO Aging, identifying and mitigating potential risks to production schedules.
  5. WIP Levels: Monitor and maintain a healthy First Article Test Part (FATP) Work-in-Progress (WIP) level, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  6. Customer Commitments: Ensure customer commitments are met without gaps, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  7. Planned Rates: Monitor and achieve planned rates, driving business growth and efficiency.
  8. Daily Meetings: Conduct daily meetings with the CFT team to identify and address losses, improving overall performance.
