SAP Finance Control Specialist Job Description

The SAP Finance Control Specialist will play a crucial role in implementing and supporting SAP Financials. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP FICO project implementation, with a strong background in finance and costing models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the implementation, conversion, and support of SAP Financials, including GL, AP, AR, Bank, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Funds Management, Cash Management, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, and Overhead Assessment and Settlement.
  • Provide expertise in cross-module integration, especially controlling functions, and ensure seamless communication between stakeholders.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide system solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements, and ensure accurate implementation of SAP solutions.
  • Lead Greenfield S/4HANA implementation projects and Brownfield S/4HANA conversion/migration projects as an independent functional FICO consultant.
  • Develop and deploy Fiori Apps and leverage ABAP development skills to enhance SAP functionality.
  • Utilize SAP Tools like Report Painter, S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, LSMW, and other relevant tools to streamline processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of SAP FICO project experience.
  • 3 years of domain experience in finance/costing preferably in manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and costing business models.
  • Minimum SAP certification in S/4HANA 1809 or higher versions in FI/CO modules.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively internally and externally.
  • A self-starter with willingness to travel for short/long-term assignments.
