ServiceNow Technical Lead Job Description

The ServiceNow Team Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This leadership position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to foster a collaborative environment.

This individual will be responsible for managing incoming work, prioritizing tasks, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers. They will oversee the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and business objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including experience in customer-facing roles, team lead roles, and certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator. Strong leadership and team management abilities are essential, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work Management: Prioritize and manage incoming tasks, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Task Assignment: Allocate tasks to team members based on skillsets and workload.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as the primary liaison with customers, gathering and clarifying requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, HR, or other modules).
  • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (required).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP APIs.
