AI Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Infrastructure Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and building scalable AI infrastructure.

About the Role

The AI Platform Team is responsible for building centralized AI infrastructure and acceleration solutions that drive productivity, innovation, and customer impact across Coinbase. As an AI Infrastructure Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how people and businesses engage with and benefit from AI in the future.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing platform architectures for all LLM use-cases in Coinbase
  • Leveraging technical expertise to manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables
  • Providing technical structure to teams and working closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering
  • At least 2+ years of engineering management experience
  • Experience in upleveling junior engineers via processes and setting a high bar for them to follow
  • Deep understanding of machine learning technologies and frameworks
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
