Senior Manager SOX Compliance Role

Elevate your career in financial management by taking on a Senior Manager role where you will be responsible for leading compliance efforts related to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and COSO framework.

About the Role:
  • Lead compliance efforts under SOX and COSO standards, ensuring adherence to SEC and statutory requirements.
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS, including audit teams and process owners.
  • Develop and maintain SOX controls, incorporating automated solutions where possible.
  • Assess the impact of new initiatives on SOX controls and ensure they are designed appropriately.
  • Communicate changes to process owners and facilitate ongoing training activities.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and process owners on various matters.
  • Review third-party SSAE 18 reports and assist with research documenting SOX issues.
  • Facilitate remediation plans based on audit findings.
Requirements:
  • Recent experience as a senior manager in a Big 4 or national public accounting firm.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or similar.
  • Proven expertise in implementing Sarbanes-Oxley Act and COSO frameworks, as well as SEC guidance.
  • Knowledge of internal controls, including process design, documentation, and testing.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and driving control automation.

To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills, with a strong understanding of SOX and COSO principles. This position requires a detailed knowledge of these frameworks and the ability to apply them effectively.
