Job Summary

The Senior Professional Services Consultant will be a key member of our consulting team, delivering configurable solutions to our end-user customers and partners. As a subject matter expert in Tungsten Automation products, you will provide technical leadership and guidance to customers on the configuration and customization of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Tungsten Automation solutions to customers based on requirements documents
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to customers on Tungsten Automation solutions
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
  • Function as the Tungsten Automation subject matter expert when onsite at customer locations
  • Document all customer-specific configurations
  • Install Tungsten Automation configurations on customer hardware
  • Assess requirements, design, and implement Tungsten Automation Oracle solutions for FPA
  • Assist customers in defining best practice processes for invoice handling and associated processes
  • Write functional and technical design documents
  • Define acceptance criteria and gain acceptance for completed projects
  • Monitor and report progress against objectives and milestones for customer and internal projects
  • Perform product configuration
  • Assist customers in developing test plans
  • Test customized, configured solutions before delivery to customers
  • Analyze and troubleshoot customer problems during projects
  • Document customer solutions for delivery to customers and the Support Department
  • Take an active part in the development of the Consulting Services department, project model, and internal processes and procedures
Requirements
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • JBOSS/Wildfly, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms experience
  • Ability to develop customized solutions using PL/SQL, Java, and other scripting languages
  • Experience in writing detailed functional specifications, preparing test scenarios, writing test scripts, and performing end-to-end testing
  • Accounting background and good process knowledge is highly preferred
  • Experience and desire to work in a management-consulting environment that requires regular travel
  • Demonstrates the ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements and understands the long-term and short-term perspectives of an IT investment situation
  • Must be able to dive into existing code to figure out how objects need to be enhanced
  • Support and promote integration relationships between IT and business functions
  • Provide accurate timelines for specific tasks assigned
  • Knowledge of IT/Document Processing/Data Capture business
  • Knowledge about system development
  • Understands all standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field
  • Understands computer systems basics, hardware, and software
  • Personal integrity, customer focus, and positive attitude
  • Handles multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Presents technical concepts in common language
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Works well on a team, without supervision, and under a deadline
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related specialization
  • 10+ years of techno-functional experience in EBS Financial suite (AP, AR, FA, GL, PO, Oracle Costing) and Oracle EBS R12
  • Must have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a high degree of attention to detail
  • Hands-on advanced PL/SQL
  • Ability to collect and document business requirements, technical requirements, and process flows
  • Consultative communications style, effective listener
  • Strong presentation and organization skills
