We are seeking a skilled backend engineer to join our team.

This role will focus on migrating core functionality from our legacy system to a modern architecture using Java Spring Boot microservices.

Your primary responsibility will be to deconstruct legacy code and re-implement it as resilient, scalable services.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of their work and is excited to leverage modern tools to accelerate our migration efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance Java Spring Boot microservices.

• Analyze existing legacy code that integrates with our platform and lead its migration to the new Java stack.

• Implement a modern event-driven system using cloud-native technologies like Google Cloud Pub/Sub.

• Build and deploy services using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies.

• Own the entire development lifecycle, demonstrating confidence in taking features to production through a robust CI/CD pipeline.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development.

• Expert-level proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.

• Professional experience with .NET (C#).

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven design patterns.
