Wireless Network Engineer

A Wireless Network Engineer is responsible for deploying, managing and optimizing wireless networks using AI-driven platforms. This role combines technical expertise in wireless networking with the ability to leverage AI tools for proactive network assurance and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and configure wireless solutions, including Wi-Fi 6/6E access points and integration with Juniper switches.
  • Utilize AI to monitor network performance, automate troubleshooting and proactively resolve issues.
  • Conduct RF planning and tuning, manage channel assignments and ensure optimal wireless coverage and capacity.
  • Implement wireless security protocols such as WPA2/3 and RADIUS, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to address network issues and implement enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in wireless networking concepts, including 802.11 standards and WLAN lifecycle management.
  • Juniper Experience: Hands-on experience with Juniper AI platform, including configuration and management of wireless networks.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as JNCIS-MistAI-Wireless are highly desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze network performance data and make informed decisions to enhance network efficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

  • Multi-Vendor Environments: Experience working in environments with multiple networking vendors, integrating Juniper solutions with existing infrastructure.
  • Cloud Networking: Familiarity with cloud-based networking solutions and the ability to manage and troubleshoot cloud-managed wireless networks.
  • Project Management: Experience leading network deployment projects, including planning, execution and post-project evaluation.
