Wireless Network Engineer

A Wireless Network Engineer is responsible for the deployment, management, and optimization of wireless networks. This role requires a deep understanding of wireless networking concepts, including standards and RF fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Deployment & Configuration: Implement and configure wireless solutions, including Wi-Fi 6/6E access points and integration with switches.
  • AI-Driven Operations: Utilize AI tools to monitor network performance, automate troubleshooting, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Performance Optimization: Conduct RF planning and tuning, manage channel assignments, and ensure optimal wireless coverage and capacity.
  • Security Management: Implement wireless security protocols, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams to address network issues and implement enhancements.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and performance metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in wireless networking concepts.
  • Juniper Mist Experience: Hands-on experience with Juniper Mist AI platform.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze network performance data and make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Multi-Vendor Environments: Experience working in environments with multiple networking vendors.
  • Cloud Networking: Familiarity with cloud-based networking solutions.
  • Project Management: Experience leading network deployment projects.
