Job Description:

Enverus is seeking a skilled Windows Systems Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating system requirements and specifications from high-level mission requirements, deploying and maintaining Windows Server installs using automation to Azure and Azure Local, monitoring hardware and software updates and security patches, and troubleshooting hardware and software problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create system requirements and system specifications from High-Level Mission Requirements
  • Deploy and maintain Windows Server installs using automation to Azure and Azure Local
  • Monitor hardware and software updates and security patches
  • Monitor system performance and capacity reports, changes in usage
  • Troubleshot hardware and software problems, takes appropriate corrective action, and/or interacts with IT staff or vendors in performing complex testing, support, and troubleshooting functions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Windows Administration skills
  • Solid knowledge of SCCM, SCOM, Azure ARC, and Azure Local/Stack HCI would be preferred
  • Capable of advanced scripting in Powershell as well as other languages you want to bring to the table, and upskill the team on
  • Experience with other Hypervisors or Hyper-converged Infrastructure
  • Experience in managing Enterprise-grade server hardware
  • Experience in managing Active Directory
  • Strong, independent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Technical certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or Microsoft Hybrid Server Administrator (AZ-800, AZ-801) would be preferred
