Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Windows Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Windows Servers farm, ensuring global alignment, and contributing to preserve the required performance for a demanding service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows Server administration, scripting (Powershell), and developing (C# or other object-oriented language). They will also possess knowledge of Active Directory, GPO's, Kerberos, DNS, and experience with different hypervisors, such as Vmware, Hyper-V, and Openstack.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be customer-oriented, and able to work well under pressure. They will also participate in standby on-call 7x24 (1 week per month).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Windows Servers farm, ensuring high availability and reliability
  • Contribute to preserve the required performance for a demanding service
  • Develop and implement scripts using Powershell to automate tasks
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and address training and development needs
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Assess demand for services and develop plans to meet future capacity needs
  • Aware of all critical changes to infrastructure and applications that could impact service delivery
  • Escalate incidents internally or to third-party partners when required

Requirements:

  • English (mandatory)
  • Experience working on big environments (>1000 servers Physical & Virtual)
  • Clustering skills with Microsoft & Veritas clusters
  • Management of SAN disks on windows servers
  • Knowledge with SQL
  • Knowledge of Ansible and Ansible Tower
