About This Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Mobile Application Automation Test Engineer. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop automated test scripts using Java-based frameworks such as Appium and TestNG/JUnit.
  • Execute and manage automation tests across multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Perform API testing to validate backend services and data integrity.
  • Contribute to web automation testing for admin, restaurant, and partner portals.
  • Run automated tests on Sauce Labs or similar device farms and analyze detailed result reports.
  • Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Use Docker containers for test environment setup, parallel execution, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test coverage, ensure feature readiness, and troubleshoot defects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Java programming for test automation.
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Appium, IntelliJ, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile testing for Android and iOS.
  • Experience in API testing using Postman and REST Assured.
  • Knowledge of web testing using Selenium/WebDriver.
  • Experience with Docker for scalable test execution.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based test environments like Sauce Labs and BrowserStack.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
