As a seasoned leader in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture, we seek an individual with expertise in designing and governing large-scale deployments.
This role involves the strategic design of global IT infrastructure and cloud landscapes, encompassing blueprint definition, engineering governance, and alignment with business continuity, scalability, cybersecurity, and performance goals.
- Define and maintain the global infrastructure and cloud architecture blueprint to ensure seamless integration and efficient operation.
- Develop and implement architecture strategies to enhance platform rationalization, simplification, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to drive technology evaluation, adoption, and governance standards.
The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of enterprise architecture across compute, storage, network, identity, and cloud, as well as advanced expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid models.
They will also demonstrate a strong grasp of cybersecurity principles and compliance mapping to infrastructure design, familiarity with automation and orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD), and understanding of ITIL, TOGAF, and regulatory requirements in pharma/life sciences.
Key responsibilities include architecture strategy & blueprinting, solution design & project enablement, technology evaluation & adoption, architecture governance & standards, collaboration & knowledge enablement, and specialized knowledge requirements.
Candidates will work closely with CIO / Head of Infrastructure, Infra Ops, Cybersecurity, Cloud & Service Delivery Leads, Project Managers & PMO, and IT Business Partners to drive technology innovation and efficiency.
External stakeholders will include OEMs / Technology Partners, System Integrators / Consultants, and Cloud Providers. The role requires effective communication, stakeholder influence, and technical negotiation skills.
We are seeking a candidate with 12+ years of infrastructure experience, with 5+ years in an architecture role across global delivery models. They should possess skills such as architecture modeling and documentation (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, ArchiMate), infra stack knowledge across OS, Virtualization, Network, Storage, and Cloud, vendor engagement and technical negotiation, and cross-cultural communication.
Travel requirement is up to 25-30% based on project workshops, vendor reviews, and strategic summits.
