Compensation and Benefits Advisor

As a successful expert in compensation and benefits, you will be responsible for aligning the organization's practices with the overall HR and organizational philosophy. This includes designing compensation structures, determining salary ranges, managing annual salary revision exercises, communicating compensation programs to employees and management, and monitoring the compensation program for improvements.

You will drive compensation and best-in-class benefits practices individually under the supervision of the Total Rewards Leader. Your role will focus on maintaining a balance between compliance, cost control, and attracting and retaining staff.

Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Monitoring the organization's compensation structure and ensuring it remains competitive
  2. Maintaining enterprise-level focus on compensation management activities while understanding unique characteristics of state entities with diverse missions
  3. Consulting with senior leaders and managers on the compensation philosophy, policies, and structures
  4. Researching and analyzing market data to develop compensation structures and conducting ad-hoc analysis for business leaders on key skills or talent
  5. Supporting the work of HR professionals within the CoE and developing a truly global HR organization delivering client satisfaction and community engagement
  6. Undertaking job evaluations to ensure fair pay differences between jobs and perceived fairness by employees
  7. Preparing RFPs and shortlisting vendors and timely completion of appraisal cycles/revision cycles

In addition, you will drive wellbeing and benefits/rewards operations professionals to enable the development and successful implementation of Fiserv India Health and Mental Wellbeing policies and programs conceptualized in conjunction and partnership with local and global benefits teams.

Key Benefits Responsibilities:

  1. Defining problem statements, goal setting, performance management, escalation management, and coaching/mentoring the operations team across health, wellbeing, and operations functions
  2. Working closely with senior leadership, HR, HQ Benefits, and Wellbeing teams to build consensus and support for the India Health and Wellbeing Strategy
  3. Focusing on communication and branding of all associate benefits
  4. Driving insurance renewal for the entity
  5. Developing an approach for administering health and wellbeing programs for Fiserv India in collaboration with local and global teams
  6. Drives vendor market intelligence across the broader benefits portfolio and helping the organization optimize ROI
  7. Managing multiple vendors/services contracts and renewal
  8. Leading internal governance of functional metrics and health/insurance dashboards
  9. Driving the finalization of annual engagement calendar in partnership with site excellence and enabling implementation of the events in conjunction with the global and India team
  10. Working with Leaders, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and the leadership team to effectively communicate/amplify the Benefits philosophy and educate team members on the value of Total Rewards in partnership with communications
  11. Managing and monitoring health and wellbeing budgets and insurance
  12. Owning and driving company-wide special projects aligned to team/organizational needs
