Job Title: Strategic Initiatives Director

 

Summary:

A seasoned leader is required to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple initiatives across IT and non-IT domains. The successful candidate will have expertise in program management methodologies, strong leadership, and stakeholder management skills to drive high-impact results.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for cross-functional initiatives, including supply chain, infrastructure, and marketing projects.
  • Establish best practices for program governance, defining methodologies and creating templates to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Design and maintain a Knowledge Management System (KMS) to support data-driven decision-making and knowledge sharing among teams.
  • Identify, assess, and track program risks, issues, and opportunities, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Supervise project managers and scrum masters to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.
  • Prepare MIS reports and present updates to leadership, highlighting key metrics and progress.
  • Travel as required to support program needs, representing the organization effectively.

 

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree with significant experience in program/project management.
  • Formal training in program and project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with excellent communication (verbal and written), MIS reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Scrum Master, demonstrating expertise in program management methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successful program delivery across IT, supply chain, infrastructure, and marketing domains.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion implementation, leveraging its capabilities to drive business outcomes.
