Job Title: Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

This is a highly responsible role that involves overseeing the efficient operation of a department. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze complex data, identify trends and patterns, and develop strategies to drive business growth.

The successful individual will be expected to perform a variety of tasks including analyzing demand and forecast data, identifying exceptions and outliers, and communicating findings to stakeholders.

In addition, this role will involve managing purchase orders, tracking status, and reporting progress updates in a timely manner. The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure is essential.

Key responsibilities also include developing and maintaining process SOPs, updating documents regularly, and supporting process improvement initiatives. This includes collaborating with technology and product teams during design workshops, testing solutions, and implementation.

Moreover, the selected candidate will provide support to internal customers by reviewing project requests and plans, analyzing data, driving solutions to business problems, and providing recommendations for system changes and overall process improvements.

  • Execute weekly ordering and creation of Purchase Orders for Replenishment and Non-replenishment orders.
  • Analyze demand and forecast data to identify any exceptions/outliers and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Manage PO revisions, track PO status, call out exceptions, and report progress updates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain process SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and update them regularly.
  • Take ownership of maintenance and disposal of documents.
  • Support process improvement and automation initiatives, actively engaging with technology and product teams during design workshops, testing solutions, and implementation.
  • Provide support to internal customers by reviewing project requests and plans, analyzing data, driving solutions to business problems, and providing recommendations for system changes and overall process improvements.
