Academic Guidance Specialist

The ideal candidate will provide support to students in their academic journey from enrollment to graduation. This role involves fostering a collaborative environment, promoting student growth and development, and helping them achieve their educational goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Engage with students to discuss their career and educational objectives.
  • Assist students in selecting courses that align with their goals.
  • Maintain open communication channels with students to monitor their progress.
  • Identify areas of strength and weakness in students and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of student performance.

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in education or a related field, with a master's degree being preferred.
  • Experience in student guidance, education, or a related field is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proficiency in computer applications is necessary.
  • Able to maintain accurate and up-to-date records concerning student performance.
  • Familiarity with institutional policies, procedures, and resources.
  • A passion for helping students succeed in their academic pursuits.
