Job Title: Kotlin Backend Expert

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Kotlin and Vert.x framework.
  • Build and enhance gRPC-based microservices to ensure seamless communication across services.
  • Implement robust database access using JOOQ.
  • Work with PostgreSQL or CockroachDB to manage data storage and retrieval.
  • Deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product teams.
  • Take ownership of new development, enhancements, system integrations, and AI-driven initiatives.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 5 to 10 years of backend development experience, with strong focus on Kotlin and Vert.x.
  • Hands-on experience with JOOQ for efficient database operations.
  • Proficient in building gRPC services for microservice communication.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or CockroachDB.
  • Experience in deploying applications in Kubernetes environments.
