Backend Developer Role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Quarkus and Kotlin.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

To achieve success in this role, you must have hands-on expertise with Quarkus framework, Kotlin programming language, PostgreSQL database design and optimization, Redis caching mechanisms, Kafka event streaming platform, and AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) deployment and management.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and optimize PostgreSQL databases for efficient data access, implement and manage caching strategies with Redis to enhance application responsiveness, build and maintain event-driven systems leveraging Kafka for real-time data processing and communication, deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications on AWS EKS, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and robust software solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with a focus on backend systems.
  • Strong background in software engineering principles, including data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to analyze complex issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
